The Little Wedding Chapel offers some of the most beautiful weddings in Southeast Michigan! Our chapel is located in Heritage Park in Taylor, Michigan. Our historic chapel was built in 1882 and still holds it’s original style and interior. From the ceiling to the floor it is 100% original handcrafted beauty.
The chapel can seat 120 guests comfortably and wedding parties can be as large as 8 people per side or more. We have an in house audio system that allows us to play your choice of songs while your brides maids, groomsmen and most importantly YOU are walking down the aisle. We have both male and female officiants to perform your wedding ceremony and same sex weddings are welcome! Our officiants can perform a fun and simple ceremony as well as a longer religious type ceremony, or anything in between! We are here to make your day just as you want it, with no stress and lots of fun!
We are now offering a reception venue with many of the services you will need such as photography, DJ, Photo Booth, Uplighting, Dance Floor Monogram, Cakes, Flowers and more! Just ask us for a list of our “Preferred Vendors”. All our vendors are top notch professionals!!

John, the owner, was fantastic to work with throughout the planning process. He was responsive, organized, and made everything feel so easy. One of the biggest reasons we chose the Little Wedding Chapel was their inclusive wedding packages. They took so much of the stress out of planning, and John's carefully selected vendor team was outstanding. Margaret, our officiant, was phenomenal. The all-inclusive package with the ceremony, reception, photography, bartenders, photobooth, DJ, special lighting, and effects like indoor fireworks made wedding planning so much easier and far less stressful. It gave us the flexibility to DIY all of our reception decor and do our own catering while still having an amazing professional setup. John was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. He was easy to communicate with, answered all of our questions, and was very accommodating with our requests. We did have an equipment issue with our “dance on a cloud,” but John handled it professionally by quickly apologizing, refunding us, and even special editing our photos afterward to add the cloud effect. I did a surprise ceremony , my wife thought we were just going there to have a minister sign our marriage license . John hid everyone behind a set of double doors , so when we walked in , we didn’t see anybody except John . He then told us to come inside , opened the double doors and everyone was standing there . He also had everyone park at the library so she wouldn’t see the cars . John was great with helping me make this a surprise. Reverend Margaret married us and she was amazing . My review may be a little long but I want to share our experience from beginning to end so people who read my review can decide if this is the right place for their special day. We set up a time to meet with John. When we met him he greeted us with a handshake and a smile. My now wife had a lot of questions. He patiently answered all of her questions. We picked out our package and made our deposit. We came back the week of our wedding, paid the balance and he showed us how to fill out the questionnaire on their website. It took us about ten minutes to fill everything out. Adding the music we wanted was super easy! We were now all set for the big day. Our wedding was at 1:00PM on October 19th, 2024. I arrived early at the hall to meet with our cake vendor. When I arrived John and his team were hard at work setting things up for our reception. When it came time for our ceremony, which for us was the most important part, everything went perfect! After the ceremony John took us around the park for photos while our guests headed to the reception hall. Our reception was incredible! Rob, the DJ that John networks with is the best in the business. During the reception John continued taking photos. He even took several family photos in front of the flower wall. He patiently waited while we gathered people up for multiple photos. We got the photo booth with our package our guests loved it. After the reception we were given a book with all of the photos taken from the photo booth with message from our guests. That was a nice surprise. John, I cannot thank you and your staff enough! From the very first call to The little wedding chapel, all the way to the end of the ceremony, was nothing but professionalism, patience, kind and supportive. Because this bride had tons of questions over the period of three months! Including asking to send a special request up to mother nature for great late October weather in MI! LOL... Neither to say the weather was perfect, which allow John to capture these lifetime memories photos. The ceremony was not rush (like most chapels do). Margaret it is not enough time to describe the warmth of blessing she was for being the minister for our union. She agreed to be in on my funny humor of pranking my husband to be with a Detroit Lions ring! (I am a fan, and he wasn't until he received that ring as what he thought was his wedding ring). I had my heart set on eloping but my husband and I agreed to have a small, intimate ceremony with our family and close friends and I am SO HAPPY I found John. From the beginning when we booked the chapel, John was available to answer my crazy questions...AND he has the patience of a saint. He made himself available to us when we wanted to "stop by" and check out the chapel. To be honest, the one thing I didn't worry about on my wedding day was the ceremony and photos because I knew everything would be great. John recommended Rev. John is a great guy he was so calm although I know he was nervous about me and my wife running over our time. He is great and easy to do business with.
