Your wedding day is almost here! We would like to thank you once again for choosing The Little Wedding Chapel for your big day!
As your wedding day approaches, we want to make sure your day is set and everything is in place. We have a short list of items you will need to go over to help us guarantee your wedding ceremony is a complete success. Please read all of the information below carefully. It is very important you understand it. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
- ARRIVAL – Your ceremony starts at the time on your contract under, “Ceremony Time”. Please make sure you remind your wedding party it is VERY IMPORTANT to arrive 45 minutes prior to the start of your wedding ceremony. We cannot stress how important this is! This time is used to prepare and to run through a quick rehearsal for your ceremony. The bride will not take part of this (unless the couple is seeing each other prior to the ceremony), just the wedding party and the groom, but the bride still needs to arrive with the rest of the wedding party. This run through takes literally about 10 minutes and when completed everyone involved will fully understand how the ceremony will go, the order they will be walking and where they will be standing during the ceremony. We have used this rehearsal process for many years and we have not had one wedding with issues involving the ceremony individuals.
PLEASE NOTE: Your ceremony start time is the time on your contract listed as, “Ceremony Time”. We do multiple weddings on any given day. Our policy states a $75 fee will be imposed if the wedding ceremony starts more than 15 minutes late due to individuals arriving late or other circumstances resulting in your ceremony start time being delayed. We CANNOT delay your wedding ceremony more than 15 minutes. If your ceremony start time is pushed back more than 30 minutes, the late fee will apply AND your ceremony may be rescheduled after ALL OTHER ceremonies are completed for that day. NO EXCEPTIONS!
- QUESTIONNAIRE – If you haven’t done so already, please make sure you fill out and submit the “Ceremony Questionnaire” form on our website (if applicable). This MUST be done on a computer, not a phone or tablet. Please do not fill out a questionnaire if you are doing an “Elopement Package”. This form gives us all the information needed for your bridal party, flower girl, ring bearer, parents and anyone else walking down the aisle before you. You can find this form at https://mylittleweddingchapel.com/questionnaire-choices/ You will see types of questionnaires listed. There are several to choose from for the church and for the gazebo. Please use the correct questionnaire for your wedding. There is also a “Questionnaire How To” video you can watch that explains the music portion of the questionnaire. It may help with understanding the process in which we get your music choices from Youtube.
- BALANCE PAYMENT – Please contact us to schedule an appointment to pay your balance at least 5 to 7 days prior to your wedding date (if you have not done so already). If you have a balance to pay, please remember we only take cash for balance payments. If a credit or debit card MUST be used, please let us know prior to meet with us. We will cover all the details needed to make sure things go perfectly on your big day! This meeting needs to take place AT LEASE 5 days prior to your wedding date. We will also use this time to make sure your music is correct and in order.
- DECORATIONS – If you plan on bringing additional decorations for the church or gazebo, please let us know when filling out the “Ceremony Questionnaire” on our website. NO TAPE is allowed when decorating the gazebo, only wire or zip ties. You will be charged a cleaning fee of $50 if we need to remove tape from the gazebo. Please remove all trash and belongings from the gazebo and surrounding area after the wedding ceremony. We strongly suggest bringing additional people to help decorate, NOT INCLUDING the wedding party. The wedding party will not be available to decorate prior to the wedding ceremony since they will be preparing for the wedding and running through a quick ceremony rehearsal prior to the wedding ceremony. Please remember we do not allow aisle runners inside the church or at the gazebo. Also, if you plan on having a flower girl drop flower petals during the ceremony, you must use and REAL flower petals outside at the gazebo, and ARTIFICIAL flower petals inside the church.
- MARRIAGE LICENSE – Don’t forget your marriage license!! If you have not obtained your marriage license yet, you need to do this as soon as possible since your wedding is approximately 2 weeks away. This is the most important document of the day.
